A new recording by the award-winning Trinity Boys Choir is about to be released by the Rondeau label.

This is the third recording the choir have made with the Leipzig-based German label which also represents Leipzig’s famous Thomanerchor.

Twenty-seven boys present an exciting and virtuosic selection of British folksong arrangements, including commissions from Peter White and former Kings Singer, Bill Ives.

There are also some beautifully sung solo tracks of music by Benjamin Britten, with the CD capped off by five memorable arrangements from former Trinity teacher and director of the choir, David de Warrenne.

The CD will soon be on sale commercially but it is available from the Music Department for just £5 – a third of the commercial price!
