We are delighted that Will Haspel, Zach Downey and Lars Hansen in the Fourth and Fifth Year have all made it through to England U16s Hockey team. Additionally, Caragh Haspel in the Lower Sixth Form, has made it to England U18s.

Mr Giles, Head of Hockey, points out that this means that these players are in the top 38 to 40 in the country for their age. “This is brilliant news for the school with us having so much representation and these students now join Upper Sixth Form student, Joe Cotton,” he says. “I know how hard each of them have worked to achieve what they have so far. They all commit so much time to Hockey – but not just on the pitch; all work tirelessly in the gym and completing the difficult running sessions.

“They are all exceptional players who have excelled for their school, often playing for the age group above. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they will positively impact the bright future of Trinity Hockey and the progress they make with their international commitments.”

Mr Kennedy, Headmaster, adds: “I am really delighted for these students. This is exciting for our teams in the next couple of years, with five Trinity students now involved with England Hockey.”

Well done to these students on this superb achievement!
