First Year student wins inaugural Online Photography Club competition

Co-curricular | 15th October 2020

Budding student photographers are warmly invited to the online Photography Club, which has been created so that all year groups can participate.  No specialist equipment is required. Your phone camera will do!

Themes are set fortnightly, with work needing to be submitted in JPEG format by the deadline. No more than four submissions will be considered.

This week’s theme was ‘Alphabet’ and students were encouraged to be experimental and adventurous in their photography.

“As the weeks progress, we will add technical tasks to the theme to challenge you to learn new styles and techniques. Have fun and happy snapping!” said Ms Stevens-Lewis and Ms Snowdon.

Very well done to Arlo in 1M who won this week’s competition with the below photograph.
