Fifth Year student Joe Cotton recently made his debut with a victorious England Hockey national team.
Joe, who was representing the U16 boys squad, quickly settled into international hockey during a series of test matches against Ireland. He scored two goals, contributing to the team’s 3-0 win, and now looks forward to more test matches in the Netherlands in April.
Nick Giles, Head of Hockey at Trinity, said: “Joe has made an outstanding contribution to hockey at Trinity, representing the first team and U16As. He scored a number of fantastic goals for both sides and was influential in Trinity becoming National Plate Winners last season. He is an outstanding role model to younger pupils at Trinity; his approach in both games and training sessions is fantastic and his work ethic, both on and off pitch, is exemplary.”
Congratulations, Joe!
