Parent Seminar: Online Safety & Grooming (Webinar)

4 March 6.30- 8.00pm

Online Safety & Grooming (Webinar)

Sarah Smith from The Breck Foundation will deliver a parents’ seminar from about online safety and grooming.

The Breck Foundation was set up in 2014 by Lorin La Fave, in response to the tragic murder of her son, Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old Surrey schoolboy who loved science, computing and gaming. Lorin is determined that no other family should have to go through the same ordeal. The charity now delivers powerful presentations using Breck’s story as an example; last year it reached more than 20,000 students, 4,000 parents and 7,000 safeguarding professionals educating them about the dangers of online grooming to help them educate and empower their children to make better decisions to stay safer online.

The webinar link will be shared on Wednesday 2nd March.
