This seminar will be delivered by Teen Tips
We will explore the complex world of child and adolescent friendships and relationships. Research shows that having healthy social relationships protects young people’s mental health and influences behaviour such as teenage risk taking. We explore what parents and carers can do to build the social skills which are so vital for creating friendships, setting boundaries, and resolving conflict.
This will be a valuable opportunity to hear some advice, reassurance and practical ideas about this topic, but it will not be a suitable forum to discuss specific concerns you have about your child or another young person. If you do have concerns about your child, please contact their Head of Year or the Safeguarding Team in school.
