Guitar Concert performed by Gary Ryan

We are delighted to welcome Gary Ryan, distinguished master of the classical guitar, to Trinity.  He is the first guitarist since John Williams to be awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Music, London, in recognition of his achievements in the international musical world.

His superb and unrivalled all-round musicianship make him a unique concert artist. Much celebrated in the classical, jazz and contemporary musical worlds, his virtuosity and engaging sense of humour are always a delight for audiences who marvel at his performances. These always include his own compositions such as the iconic, ‘Benga Beat’, ‘Lough Caragh’ and ‘Scenes from The Wild West’.

Gary’s highly acclaimed recitals take the audience on a unique and fascinating musical journey, coaxing an extraordinary and evocative range of sounds from the guitar.
