Entry Requirements
The selection process for entry, other than to the Sixth Form, is based on three sources of information: an entrance examination, interview, and a reference from the pupil's present school. For information about Sixth Form admissions click here
About 40% of our pupils come from other independent schools, 60% from state primary schools. The entrance examination is designed to suit both.

INTERVIEWS
Boys who are successful in the entrance examinations are invited to Trinity for entrance interviews, which are the final stage in the selection process. 10+, 11+ and 13+ interviews will take place in January 2014.
All applicants are interviewed for at least 15 to 30 minutes each. The interview will concentrate on their strengths at school and their interests, as well as any weaknesses which might have emerged in their examination papers. Candidates are asked to bring a small sample of their school work, or an object of interest, to act as the starting point for discussion. This could be written work, art or something made at school or home.
If a pupil has done especially well in the entrance examinations he will be assessed for an academic scholarship award using a longer interview, usually taking about one hour.
During a boy's interview, his parents are invited to meet with the Headmaster. This is not an interview but an opportunity for parents to ask any final questions.
