The Electronics department is a small but well resourced department that teaches AS & A2 Electronics in the Sixth Form. A-level Electronics is a popular option in the Sixth Form and a large proportion of the pupils go on to study Electronic Engineering at university following their two year Sixth Form studies. The course (examined by OCR) has a significant practical element and is taught in a purpose built laboratory that is designed to provide excellent facilities for project work. The department offers a wide range of clubs for all years and a number of activities centred around electronics including ‘Technocrat’, and amateur radio activities. It has strong links with Design Technology and with the many activities of Trinity School Racing.
