Maths Olympiad
Congratulations to the 38 Fifth, Fourth and Third Form boys who obtained Gold Certificates in the Intermediate Maths Challenge and to the 26 boys who went on to the Kangaroo and Olympiad rounds. Special praise should go to Chris Lambeth and Fred Collman who both received distinctions; indeed, Chris went still further and has also been awarded a gold medal for being in the top hundred in the country out of the 250,000 pupils who took part this year. Additionally, Chris was invited by the United Kingdom Mathematical Trust to join the prestigious National Maths Summer School held in Birmingham in July.
